• John 4:23,24 – We worship God not with what we can see or what we can touch; but we worship God in spirit (with what we believe) and in truth (what His word says only). God is a spirit. Our eyes alone cannot see Him but our heart can see Him by faith in His word.
  • 1 Corinthians 3:16,17 –Where do we worship God? In whatever place the temple is. Where is the temple of God? Our bodies are the temple of God. How should we present our bodies to God each day? We are to make a sacrifice to present our bodies holy and acceptable.
  • Proverbs 20:1 – Can what we put in our temple effect what comes out and how we perceive what we see and hear? The bible clearly tells us that wine makes fools of us and that strong drink creates or is tumult…agitates the mind and emotions. If we are wise, we will not be deceived into partaking of these spirits.
  • John 15:7,8 – Is the word telling us that in order to gain the power from the Holy Spirit to stop putting things into my body (the temple of God) that separate me from God and prevent me from hearing from Him, that I must stay in Jesus and let his word stay in me? By staying in Jesus, and allowing His word to stay in us, we are always in the light. As God’s word enters into us and sets up residence, Satan and all of his sinful strongholds no longer feel comfortable so they move out.
  • Psalm 95:6 – Ever day, let us invite the presence of the Almighty God. Let us worship and bow down, allowing his Holy Spirit to rise up in us.
  • II Timothy 2:16 – Remember, the use of profane and vain babbling calls and increases more ungodliness unto us. By cursing, we caldemons unto ourselves.
  • Romans 12:1 – It is our reasonable service to present our bodies a living sacrifice.
  • Psalm 107:20 – How can I keep my temple clean? He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from all their destruction. The word of God heals and delivers us. By meditating on it day and night, and speaking it continually, the light of God and His power enters as Satan and darkness departs.
  • Mark 4:14-20 – What does Satan steal from us when we are in darkness? Satan cometh immediately and taketh away the word that was sown in our hearts. Remember, the word of God is light.
  • Psalm 119:130 – How can meditating on the word change me? The entrance of thy word bringeth light. It gives understanding unto the simple. As light enters in, darkness must flee. Satan is a thief who steals when we are in darkness. We must always abide in Jesus and allow the light of His word to abide in usALWAYS!!
